How to Reset Password

  1. On the ExamSoft login screen (at examsoft.com/iusm), click the Lost Password? link in the Administrators / Faculty area.

  2. On the Forgot Your Password screen that appears, enter your IU email address associated with your ExamSoft account. If you don't remember the email address associated with your ExamSoft account, please contact Erich Bauer at ejbauer@iu.edu.

  3. Click the Reset Password button.
  4. A confirmation message lets you know that "An email was sent to your email address with further instructions on resetting your password."
  5. Close the Forgot Your Password screen.
  6. Check your email for an email from ExamSoft. Click the link in the email to reset your password.
  7. Follow the instructions on the Reset your password screen that appears after you click the link.

  8. Click the Reset Password button.
  9. If you receive a message that says "An account with the email id and password already exists as exam manager. Please change the password," you're using the correct password for the account. Try navigating back to examsoft.com/iusm and logging in again. Contact Erich Bauer if you are still unable to log in after trying this.

  10. If you receive a success message, you will be redirected to the login page (examsoft.com/iusm) where you can log in with your new password.
